Waistcoat of traditional dress

Description

A waistcoat of dark cloth, decorated along the front edges with rows of golden-yellow buttons and ornamental bands. It was scanned on a dress form, so the model keeps the shape the waistcoat has when worn.

Textiles are scanned as a surface, not as a solid body. For 3D printing it was therefore closed first, and a plaque with the relief of the folds and a miniature on a stand were prepared.
